The film poster for Bend it Like Beckham instantly represents the young youths in a positive way. In the poster the two main characters, Jess and Jules, are laughing and hugging eachother, portraying them as happy teenagers. They are both in sports wear, and the title being 'Bend it like Beckham' shows that the pair are very interested in sports, which can also represent them in positive ways as it tells the audience that they have healthy hobbies. The colours used in the poster are all bright, instead of dark which can detract any negativity from the teenagers and the film. Jess's
